My favorite activity this week is we arrive in the North Pole after 15 days of traveling for Christmas around the world! We watch Polar Express and drink hot chocolate and the students enjoy talking about the journey they have been on!!
We are working on skills with a Christmas theme. My students can't wait!
My favourite thing about this week will most definitely be Friday! We are going to an assembly to sing holiday carols, playing Christmas Bingo, making Gingerbread Boys/Girls, watching "Home Alone" with popcorn, reading "Santa is Coming to Toronto," and handing out student gifts =). I can hardly wait!!!
Icing sugar cookies while drinking cocoa and watching Rudolph!!
We will be finishing up some sensory poems about the holidays on Pixie. Then we are going to compile them together, add some music, and send the show home as a digital card:)
This week my students and I will be decorating gingerbread men on Friday! I always love doing this with my students!
I can't wait to make the craftivity of students catching snowflakes on their tongues!
