Hi everybody! Hope you are having a good week! It’s Fall Break around here. We are only off for two day but it’s better than nothing.
These past two weeks, I’ve been reading lots of books on apples and pumpkins.
We started off the week with a little apples pretest so I could see what the kiddos already knew about apples.
We read lots of books about apples. Here are a few of my favorites.
Our weekly skill was facts and details so we wrote down some facts about apples.
My apples turned out kinda big so I went ahead and made them smaller for next year.
We also worked on author’s purpose so we read the cute story, Bad Apple. I made this chart to go with the story.
Then the kids filled out this page about author’s purpose.
We ended our apple week with a little snack. We had Applejacks, apple chips, sliced apples, apple cider, and applesauce.
