Okay, friends, I’m back sharing my visual plans for this week. I just took last year’s visual plans for the week of September 1st and added an extra day of activities. Labor Day was earlier last year. I’m really looking forward to that three day weekend next week.
This week, we are working on story elements, subjects and predicates, blends, and subtraction strategies. As always, you can click on these plans to download them and access the links for books and activities.
We will also be singing my story elements and subject/predicate songs from my Singing through the Year pack. I forgot to add that into the plans.
If you download these, please be kind and leave a comment. This helps me track if these are actually helpful to post each week.
I’m linking up my post with Mrs. Wills Kindergarten. Check out some other awesome weekly plans at her linky party.
Have a great week!
Thank you for posting! I always love seeing what/ how other teachers are teaching, especially at the beginning of the School Year! Thanks again! PS- Which Amy Lemmons set is that last activity from? I have many of her +/- things but that didn't look familiar. Thank you!
Thanks for posting these!! I love to see how other second grade teachers plan their weeks & what activities they implement! Very helpful 🙂

Thanks for sharing! This is my first year teaching second grade, so it helps me know if I'm on the right track!
Thank you for sharing!! My team does not plan together so these help to fine tune my thinking 🙂

Thank you for sharing. I am the ONLY 2nd grade teacher in my district so ideas from blogs are a real help to me in my planning. Thank you and keep them coming!
