I’ve been working on creating something that will hold my magnetic letters and letter stamps without them getting all mixed up. The storage container I have now has a lid that constantly comes off and the magnets go all over the place. So here’s my solution —
It’s a craft storage box with 18 different compartments. I put some colorful scrapbook paper in the bottom of the container. Then I added some scrapbook alphabet stickers to the inside and the outside of the container so my students will be absolutely sure where the magnets go. Hopefully, this will save me some time in the long run. I think it turned out pretty good. How do you organize your materials for word work?
Cute Courtney! I have done this in the past.
You can buy these at Lowes and Home Depot much cheaper than the craft store (thought I might be able to save you a few bucks). They work beautifully for letter tiles too!
Thanks Dana! I actually had a coupon for Hobby Lobby so I got it for around $5 but I never thought to check Lowes or Home Depot. If I make another one, I'll check there first.
Thanks Heather!
Hi there -cute blog! I'm a new follower! You can also find something similar to this in the toy section next to the hot wheels cars. It's what I use to store my sons cars in! Great idea – very cute! Come by and say hi!
